What is EDYOUKYIV?

EDYOUKYIV is an educational initiative within the EdYOUFest Global network, created to support, connect, and empower educators across Ukraine.

Born from a shared belief that education must continue even in the most challenging times, EDYOUKYIV celebrates teachers not only as professionals, but as leaders of resilience, innovation, and social transformation.

EDYOUKYIV is both:

  • a movement, driven by teachers and local communities

  • a structured initiative, built on governance, collaboration, and long-term vision

Together, these dimensions form a living national network dedicated to teacher development and international connection.

Why EDYOUKYIV?

Ukraine is a country of extraordinary cultural, linguistic, and intellectual richness.
At the same time, educators often face:

  • challenging working conditions

  • limited access to resources

  • reduced international opportunities, especially during wartime

EDYOUKYIV exists to bridge these gaps by creating a sustainable platform that:

  • supports teachers professionally and personally

  • connects them to global educational communities

  • recognises and celebrates their work, creativity, and leadership

Education, in this context, becomes an act of resilience.

EDYOUKYIV as a Movement

EDYOUKYIV is a teacher-driven movement.

Across Ukraine, thousands of educators work every day with dedication and courage.
