1. EDYOUAFRICA Teacher Empowerment Series

Monthly online sessions offering workshops, round tables, and training led by African and international educators.
Topics range from language pedagogy to classroom innovation, digital tools, and intercultural education.

2. Local and National Events

Each National Team organises small-scale gatherings such as:

  • Teacher Days or Mini-EdYOUFest events.

  • Workshops with university collaboration.

  • Community outreach projects (e.g., literacy drives, school mentoring).

3. Africa EdYOUFest Online Week

An annual virtual conference showcasing teacher experiences, classroom research, and innovative practices from across the continent.
It offers visibility, professional exchange, and a celebration of Africa’s teaching excellence.

4. Research and Publications

EDYOUAFRICA encourages research collaboration and the publication of case studies or articles through:

  • The EdYOUFest Blog and Magazine;

  • National newsletters;

  • Joint academic partnerships.

5. Mentoring Network

Why Scholarships?
At EDYOUAFRICA, we believe that financial barriers should never prevent talented educators and aspiring teachers from accessing world-class training, global networking, and professional development. Our scholarship programme is designed to empower educators across Africa, giving them the tools, resources, and global exposure they need to transform classrooms and communities.

 

What the Scholarship Covers
Depending on the applicant’s needs and circumstances, EDYOUAFRICA Scholarships may cover:

  • Full or partial waiver of the EDYOUCARD membership fee (granting access to all masterclasses, webinars, and resources)

  • Travel and accommodation (for in-person events/conferences, if applicable)

  • Access to digital resources or teaching materials that are otherwise cost-prohibitive

  • Mentorship and coaching sessions with experienced educators in our global network

 

Who Can Apply?
We welcome applications from:

  • Teachers, educators, and trainers currently working in Africa

  • Student-teachers or recent graduates committed to joining the teaching profession in Africa

  • Education advocates, NGO-based trainers, or community educators with a track record of working in under-resourced settings

  • Individuals who demonstrate passion, commitment to educational equity, and willingness to contribute to the EDYOUAFRICA community

 

How to Apply

  1. Fill out the “Scholarship Application Form” on the EDYOUAFRICA website — include a short CV/resume, a brief description of your current work or studies, and a short statement (300–500 words) about why the scholarship would help you and how you plan to contribute back.

  2. Optional: Submit a short recommendation (from a colleague, mentor, or community leader) if available.

  3. Deadline: [Insert a draft date, e.g. “31 May 2026” — or state “rolling applications accepted” if you prefer flexibility].

  4. Selection: Applicants will be evaluated by a diverse panel of African and international educators, focusing on need, potential, and commitment to our mission. Successful candidates will be notified within “4–6 weeks”.

 

Expectations of Scholarship Recipients

  • Active participation: attend events, webinars or masterclasses connected to EDYOUAFRICA

  • Sharing experiences: after completion — write a short report, blog post, or testimonial about your learning journey and how you apply it in your classroom / community

  • Ambassador role: help raise awareness of EDYOUAFRICA in your region — invite new educators, share resources, and contribute to our growing pan-African network

How to Become a Partner

  1. Contact us at info@edyougallery.com with a brief proposal: explain what type of support you are offering (financial sponsorship, resources, expertise), and any target region(s) or themes (e.g. STEM education, teacher training, digital literacy).

  2. Our team will evaluate the proposal and align contributions with EDYOUAFRICA’s strategic needs (scholarships, events, resource gaps).

  3. Once approved, we will draft a partnership agreement outlining scope, deliverables, and mutual expectations.

  4. Partners’ logos and information will be featured on the site, social-media, and communications relevant to their contributions.

  • Platinum Sponsor — large-scale financial support or multiple full scholarships; featured prominently on all materials and events.

  • Gold Partner — medium support (partial scholarships, resource donation, content contribution).
