Who We Are
EdYOUFest was founded in 2015 with a single mission: to become the world’s most innovative, creative, and ground-breaking community for English Language Teachers.
The concept for EdYOUFest was born in the summer of 2015, thanks to the vision of Chuck Sandy and Giovanni Rottura. Their goal was to provide English language teachers with more opportunities to share their training experiences, while also enjoying the process of learning together. After organizing numerous teacher training and development events around the world, it became clear that there was a need for a special gathering—a space where teachers could meet, form lasting friendships, and foster collaborations that would continue long after the event ended.
The name EdYOUFest, short for "educational festival," was chosen to highlight the event's focus on educators and the importance of community-driven learning and growth.
